Sonus is a digital teaching stethoscope that is wirelessly connected to several earpieces. It creates a wireless system that allows multiple users to hear the same heart sound produced by a patient. This facilitates learning and discussions during clinical rounds. Sounds can be recorded and then be uploaded through the computer onto Soundscope, which is a database of recorded body sounds. Consultants and medical students can make use of this platform to widen their exposure and knowledge to various murmurs.
